What a year 2023 was!
And while it was jam-packed with a heap of highs (and a couple of lows for good measure), we came into 2024 thinking BIG. BIG ideas and even bigger changes to the team.
So whether you’re new here or we’re old acquaintances, we thought this would be a good time (the best time, really…) to do a team meet and greet and tell you about some of the personnel shifts we’ve made this year.
BEVAN - BUSINESS MANAGER
Bevan’s the guy that keeps everything humming along: he does the client onboarding, proposals, quotes, networking, invoicing, accounts, payroll, GST reconciliations and a heap of other incredibly practical things that being a business owner requires.
He loves nothing more than winning business and closing deals and - given he has an accounting & psychology degree along with the many years he spent in HR and as a General Manager - he really is the only man for the job.
JAMIE - CHIEF CONTENT CREATOR
One of the major shifts we’ve made this year is to appoint Jamie as our chief content creator. She’ll be taking on the bulk of the content creation, product and lifestyle photography for the clients we work with. Jamie started with Shout + Co. 3 years ago, kicking off her time with us as a Production Assistant, and quickly showed her skillset within the Content Creation realm. So we gave her a bump up to Content Creator and now CHIEF Content Creator.
PIPPA - STUDIO MANAGER
After an incredibly manic 2023, Pippa chose to take a step back this year to focus on the gaps that needed to be filled in the background of the day-to-day running of the business. She’ll be taking on the role of Studio Manager, focusing more on the Shout + Co. brand through the website and socials, helping the team in the pre-production phase of the content creation process, sourcing props and ingredients for shoots, managing the mountains of samples and props we work with, sourcing models and keeping the studio clean and tidy. All of this with a goal to shifting the admin our content creators need to tackle to get their jobs done away from them and make the supply chain more efficient.
EMMA - GRAPHIC DESIGNER
We welcomed Emma to the team mid-2023 as our Graphic Designer and since then we’ve been able to lean into her extensive skillset to add photography to her key focus areas. That won’t change into 2024 and we're excited to bring more brands and businesses within Emma’s workflow to increase our capacity and outputs. This means we can take on more briefs and churn out more great work with Emma on the tools.
ISSAC - CONTENT PRODUCER
Our newest recruit, Issac was interviewed on last Tuesday and hired just 2 days later because we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have him on the team. Issac will be taking care of content creation (including photography and videography), web design, EDMs, video editing, some design work, content publication and scheduling. He has heaps of agency experience so if you get Issac as your Account Manager, you KNOW your brand will be in good hands.
It’s going to be a BIG year for Shout + Co. in 2024. We’ve got some exciting projects on the go and in the pipeline, and with the team expanding exactly the way it needs to to react to where the market is heading, we’re ready to tackle whatever the year throws at us!
