We are looking for a 2nd shooter to join the team! We have SO many projects on the go and in the pipeline, so we’re needing to increase our capacity! They would be working alongside the 2 other Shout & Co. photographers at our studio in Birkenhead.
This role is a contractor one, meaning you work for yourself but contract your time to us at a negotiated rate, whether that be hourly or project-based (or a combination of the 2).
The 2nd shooter would be stepping in to help us with:
Lifestyle Photography
eCommerce Product Photography
Image editing
This role requires someone who:
Has photography experience (no beginners or hobbyists please!)
Has their own camera and lenses
Has an eye for product photography and lifestyle imagery and can style up a scene
Works efficiently
Is able to interpret a client brief
Uses Lightroom / Photoshop
Is able to work with natural light
Has their own car / transport
Has flexibility during the day and week
Some skills that are advantageous:
Has experience shooting headshots and portraits
Can shoot video
Video editing
Works with studio lighting
Will have a desk and iMac, Shout & Co. email address, full use of studio, props and equipment for Shout & Co. work, with the option to rent the studio for non-Shout & Co. work.
To work on-site at our studio on the North Shore with the option to work from home when needed.
Please no beginners as we won’t have the time to train you on how to use a camera or style up a scene - we are needing someone who can slot straight in!
Shortlisted contractors will be invited for a chat at the Shout & Co. studio - we’ll hand you a brief and ask you to shoot 2 images and edit them so we can get a feel for your process, skills and styling. We’ll of course pay you for your time.
